Senior Social Workers - Assessment & Intervention (Locality)

* A market supplement of £2,500 per annum.

Salary: £45,339 - £50,726 per annum* plus relocation allowance up to £,500* and retention bonus up to £10,000 over 3 years.
Responsibilities
* Respond to the needs of children through S47 child protection investigations or S17 child in need single assessments.
* Develop effective relationships with children and their families to identify needs and help develop plans to achieve change.
* Ensure that the voice of the child is at the centre of your work and use a range of direct work tools to evidence the child’s voice in your assessments and plans.
* Produce timely evidence‑based interventions and progress pre‑proceedings/care proceedings towards permanency planning.
About you
* Recognised professional Social Work qualification and registered with Social Work England.
* Completed the ASYE programme.
* At least 2 years post‑qualifying experience as a social worker in a Children & Families setting.
* Good knowledge of child development and relevant minimum standards.
* Able to analyse information and make informed decisions.
* Demonstrated ability to promote change in family life.
