Join Nuffield College: Lead Our Endowment Office
Nuffield College is on a mission to be a world-leading graduate college, dedicated to advancing research in the social sciences. With a strong endowment supporting our academic activities and future sustainability, we are looking for an experienced professional to take the helm of our Endowment Office and guide the management and development of our investment portfolio.
The Role
As a key player in our organization, you will:
* Manage a Diverse Investment Portfolio: Oversee a variety of property and non-property assets, ensuring robust reporting and governance arrangements are in place.
* Lead Real Estate Management: Take charge of the day-to-day management of the College’s real estate assets and contribute to major property development projects in Oxford.
* Coordinate with Stakeholders: Act as the College’s client representative, working closely with consultants, managing agents, and legal advisors to deliver projects effectively and strategically.
* Administer Non-Property Investments: Oversee equities, fixed income, and cash investments, liaising with external managers and collaborating with the College’s Head of Finance and other key stakeholders.
The Candidate
We are looking for someone who:
* Has strong experience in managing or supporting investment assets, with a preference for experience in property development projects.
* Is familiar with investment principles and portfolio oversight, though deep technical expertise is not essential.
* Possesses outstanding stakeholder engagement and organizational skills, with a respect for governance structures.
* Holds a degree-level education; relevant professional qualifications are a plus.
