Job Description
As an independent commissioner, you will play a critical role in raising corporate governance standards across the group. Your main responsibilities will include:
3. Providing strategic counsel and guidance to the C-Suite team to support organisational goals.
4. Ensuring that the business is moving towards to be the best-in-class levels.
5. Reviewing and approving key organisational policies and strategies.
6. Chairing the audit committee, and overseeing financial reporting, internal controls, compliance and external audits.
7. Offering independent oversight to ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and best practices.
8. Evaluating financial performance and ensuring long-term sustainability.
9. Participating in board meetings to contribute to governance and decision-making processes.
10. Providing mentorship to senior leadership for professional growth and development.
11. Forming the risk committee that oversees the group's enterprise risk management framework.
12. Acting as an ambassador for the organisation within the healthcare sector.
13. Ensuring a strong focus on patient outcomes and quality of care
The Successful Applicant
A successful independent commissioner should have:
14. Proven leadership experience within the healthcare industry or a related field.
15. At least 35+ years of working experience, as a practitioner and/or in the field-related business.
16. Willingness to travel to Indonesia once every quarter.
17. Our client only accepts the candidates who have graduate with medical degree background, and ideally from top global universities.
18. Prior experience as non-executive director will be highly valuable.
19. Excellent communication in English.
20. Strong understanding of governance principles and board responsibilities.
21. Ability to provide high-level strategic insights and guidance.
22. Experience in financial oversight and risk management.
23. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration.
