About the Role: The HR Coordinator provides administrative and operational support to the Human Resources team, ensuring smooth and efficient HR processes. This role supports key HR functions including recruitment, onboarding, employee records management, benefits administration, annual compliance activities, and employee engagement initiatives. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and thrives in a fast-paced, people-focused environment. Primary Responsibilities: Coordinate and support the full-cycle recruitment process (e.g., posting jobs, scheduling interviews, communicating with candidates, etc.). Facilitate new hire onboarding and run the new hire orientation. Maintain assignments and follow-up for the buddy program. Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, in the HRIS and electronic and physical files. Support Benefits enrollments – Annual open enrollment and new hire enrollment. Support employee engagement and recognition programs. Prepare reports, presentations, and HR-related communications. Ensure compliance with internal policies and legal employment regulations. Generate the quarterly employee newsletter. Provide general administrative support to the HR team and assist with special projects as needed. Back-up front desk admin, when necessary. Maintain HR inbox or ticketing system. Assist employees with HR related questions. Coordinate meetings, training, etc. as needed. Work closely with Payroll Specialist for coordination of new hires, terminations, leaves of absence, etc. Collaborate with HR team members as needed to maintain excellence in the department. Assist with compliance reporting, updating HR policies and procedures, audits, employee record file compliance. Position Qualifications: Associate or bachelor’s degree (preferred) in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience). aPHR or PHR certification preferred, or candidate willing to pursue and acquire. 1–2 years of experience in an HR administrative support role preferred. Strong organizational skills and great attention to detail Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with HRIS systems is a plus. Ability to interact with every level of the organization.
