This is a recruitment compliance position, ideal for someone who understands (or wants to learn about) the importance of safer recruitment and regulatory checks in the education sector. You’ll help ensure that every hire meets safeguarding standards, supporting the recruitment and onboarding of teachers and educational support staff for our English Language Study Schools Summer 2026.

What you'll be doing:
From January to July, Stafford House Study Holidays welcomes around 300 new team members to support our international students across seven UK locations. Our Talent Team makes sure all pre-employment and safeguarding checks are completed on time, keeping everything in line with safer recruitment standards. During the busy summer months, the team grows to include a Talent Coordinator and Talent Administrator to help keep everything running smoothly.
* Acting as the first point of contact for new employees, guiding them through the pre-employment process
* Coordinating and verifying all pre-employment checks and documentation to ensure safer recruitment
* Applying for references, enhanced DBS certificates and all aspects of document requirements
* Encouraging candidates to complete their pre-employment checks in time - negotiation skills required!
* Liaising with hiring managers, candidates, and third parties to ensure all required information is received
* Managing a busy and varied workload with multiple deadlines while maintaining accuracy and compliance
* Reviewing and verifying documents (UK and international) to meet safeguarding and right-to-work requirements
* Supporting recruitment events and a working with various systems, excel databases and applicant tracking system (Jobtrain)

What you'll need:
* Excellent communication skills and a confident, professional approach
* Experience in a dynamic, fast-paced administrative or compliance-based role is essential
* Strong organisation, focus, and attention to detail accuracy is key
* A proactive and tenacious attitude when following up on outstanding information
* Confidence to challenge and support when needed
* (Desirable) Experience or knowledge of safer/recruitment or onboarding practices full training provided
* Ability to work up to two Saturdays in late June/early July (time off provided in lieu)
* Due to our busy period being May to July - we cannot accommodate leave in this period
