LCV Technician required in Haverfordwest.
1. Starting salary from £17.50-18 per hour dependent on experience.
2. Monday to Friday 8:00-5:00pm, with 1 hour for lunch, and 1 in 2 Saturday mornings paid additionally at time and a half.

Our client, a franchise-approved Commercial Vehicle Dealer group in the Haverfordwest area, is currently looking to hire a skilled Light Commercial Vehicle (LCV)/Van Technician.
Reporting to the Workshop Controller/Service Manager and working as part of a friendly team, your key objectives as a LCV Technician will include:
4. To complete all light commercial vehicle service work and defined maintenance work of the utmost quality and efficiency within manufacturers' time schedules.
5. Supply a professional performance in all aspects of work activities to make an essential contribution to the value and retention of customers.
6. Supporting colleagues in the workshop with any technical issues and innovations.
7. Ability to carry out comprehensive diagnosis and repairs of malfunctions on light commercial vehicles.
8. To ensure that all company policies and procedures applicable to their area of responsibility are adhered to at all times.
9. Document the results of diagnosis/repairs/service/safety inspections.
To be eligible; you will need to live within a reasonable commuting distance of Haverfordwest and have a UK Driving Licence with minimal points. You will need to be qualified to IMI/NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in either Light or Heavy Vehicle Maintenance and Repair as a minimum, and have some practical experience post-qualification working with light commercial vehicles. Our client is willing to look at potential employees from a car-based workshop background as long as you have some working experience on Vans. Overall, you will be a committed individual and a good team player. You must be able to produce high-quality work in a busy franchise-approved dealer environment and be motivated to work towards targets set for your team.
