SEN Support Worker - Secondary Education - Taunton
Location: TauntonHours: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 08: Fridays)Pay: £14.66 - £16.00 per hour (dependent on PAYE or Umbrella)
Prospero Teaching is currently recruiting for a dedicated and compassionate SEN Support Worker to join a supportive secondary school in Taunton. This is a full-time role, ideal for someone passionate about making a difference in the lives of young people with special educational needs.
The Role:
* Supporting students with a range of SEN, including autism, ADHD, and social/emotional needs
* Working closely with teaching staff to deliver tailored interventions
* Providing one-to-one and small group support
* Assisting with classroom activities and behaviour management
* Promoting inclusion and emotional wellbeing
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
* Experience working with children or young people with SEN (school-based or other settings)
* A calm, patient and resilient approach
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* A genuine passion for supporting young people
* An enhanced DBS on the update service (or willing to apply)
* Right to work in the UK
