About the Role As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will: Provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils with a range of special educational needs, including ASD, ADHD, SEMH, and speech & language difficulties. Assist in the planning, preparation, and delivery of tailored learning activities. Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs). Promote inclusion, independence, and confidence in every pupil you support. Use your expertise and creativity to adapt resources and strategies to suit different learning styles. About You We are looking for someone who: Has substantial experience working as a SEN TA, ideally in both mainstream and specialist settings. Demonstrates strong knowledge of effective behaviour management strategies. Possesses excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work with pupils, staff, and parents. Is patient, resilient, and genuinely committed to making a positive difference. Holds relevant qualifications (e.g., CACHE, NVQ, or equivalent) – desirable but not essential with strong experience.
