RATE: £43.72 per hour (Umbrella).

Location: Hybrid Working (2 days per week office based)
This is an excellent opportunity for a confident leader with a strong background in frontline safeguarding and assessment services. As Team Manager, you will oversee a team of social workers undertaking timely and high-quality assessments for children and families. You will provide strong leadership, ensure compliance with statutory requirements, and drive performance to achieve positive outcomes for children.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead, manage, and support a team within the Assessment Service
* Ensure assessments are completed within statutory timescales
* Provide supervision, guidance, and performance management
* Maintain high standards of safeguarding practice
* Work collaboratively with partner agencies
* Manage complex cases and provide strategic oversight
Requirements
* Minimum 3 years experience as a Team Manager within childrens services
* Recent experience in an Assessment Team is essential
* Strong knowledge of safeguarding legislation and frameworks
* Proven ability to lead high-performing teams in a fast-paced environment
* Social Work England registration
