As a Customer Advisor your role will involve receiving inbound calls from candidates who are looking to join the British Army and responding to any enquiries regarding their application processes.
* Full-time, permanent role: working 37.5 hours per week.
* Office working: at our Upavon, Wiltshire office.
* As part of the induction process, you may be required to attend an in-person, 1.5 day, induction at our offices in Bovington.

What you'll be doing
* Answering calls from individuals looking to join the British Army.
* Responding to online webchat enquiries.
* Accurately updating the internal database.
* Escalating any problems or issues that may occur.
* Responding to candidate questions regarding various stages in the recruitment process.
* Supporting team members as and when required.
What we're looking for
Essential
* Previous customer service skills - face to face or over the telephone.
* Good IT skills using Microsoft Office Suite.
* Adaptable to in-house databases.
* Comfortable working in a team environment as well as independently.
* Active listening skills with the ability to type key information at the same time.
* Must have the flexibility to work a shift pattern, between the hours of 8:15am-7pm.
* Empathy and patience.
Desirable
* Familiarity with army careers, would be an advantage.
