Alongside your leadership duties, you’ll take on a small number of high‑profile or sensitive applications, offering your expertise where it matters most. You’ll work closely with colleagues across the Council, provide clear professional advice, and help us deliver development that genuinely benefits our communities. With experience in a Local Planning Authority, you feel confident guiding others, handling complex cases and offering clear, balanced advice. You enjoy supporting colleagues, sharing your knowledge and creating a team environment where everyone feels valued and able to do their best work. You communicate openly, build strong relationships and stay calm when things get busy.
