This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic engineer to join the Group GenAI team. We are looking for a Software Engineer, with an appetite to grow within the GenAI technology ecosystems and elements of a DevOps/platform technologies. We thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment where your skills and ideas will be valued, and your contributions will directly impact Admiral’s GenAI undertakings.
Our team operates at group level to push the delivery of GenAI use cases as well as support teams with the business and IT to grow their GenAI estate.

Responsibilities
* Keep up to date with GenAI technologies
* Develop backend services, using Python, node, flask or Django
* Develop modern responsive multi device applications, using modern dev languages and technologies.
* Work alongside other teams within the Group’s companies and departments
* Adhere to Admiral security standards and responsible AI principles.
* Work in concert with team Business Analysts to ensure measurable and fulfil team OKRs
* Report to Technical lead
Required Skills
* Development of serverless or backend applications (Node.js, Python etc )
* API knowledge and related security principles
* Good knowledge of Data storage technologies and related integration concerns
* Knowledge of SDLC and CI/CD.
* Passion for AI
* Networking, IP protocols (HTTP, WS)
* Security, authentication and membership protocols
* UX/UI frameworks
