Overview
We are looking for a flexible, motivated individual to join our busy Hospital Endoscopy Decontamination Unit.
Our modern, 7‑room, JAG accredited unit processes up to 100 flexible endoscopes per day and is open 7 days a week, including bank holidays and the entire Christmas period. The unit is responsible for the decontamination of all types of endoscopes used throughout the hospital, with over 30,000 procedures performed annually.
Responsibilities
* Work as a member of the Endoscopy Decontamination Team to carry out duties related to the decontamination of flexible endoscopes, adhering to all accredited policies and procedures.
* Correctly process and decontaminate a variety of endoscopes according to local and national guidelines, ensuring traceability and storage.
Qualifications and Experience
Previous experience in a Sterile Service is desirable but not essential; full training will be provided.
Working Hours and Conditions
* Flexible approach to working hours, including half‑day shifts either morning or afternoon.
* Rotating weekends.
