Job Description:

The shift pattern for this position is Monday to Friday.
An opportunity has arisen for a procurement and housekeeper support operative in PICU, RHC, Glasgow. The post holder will work in a distinct role to support the delivery of clinical care by assisting in the maintenance of a clean, safe and attractive environment, conducive to patient care. Assisting with a range of services, including cleaning, catering, supplies and general maintenance issues reporting and rectification, the post holder will work closely with the Division’s support service departments, Unit Manager and staff to ensure that national and local standards are met. Responsible for the sourcing of alternative products and maintenance of consumables in conjunction with National Distribution Team and within the Ward as advised by the Senior Change Nurse. Interfaces with materials, stores and Ward Product Manager and supplies team. Sourcing on behalf of ward manager/clinical staff specific capital equipment on an ad hoc basis.
