Description
We’re looking for a Student Accommodation Manager to oversee the daily operations of student accommodation activity. This role focuses on delivering excellent service based on sector best practices. You should bring strong influencing and collaboration skills, along with advanced communication and data analysis abilities. Your ability to build lasting relationships will help us develop and enhance our accommodation offerings.
About the Role
You will manage the operational aspects of the University’s student accommodation service, working closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure a smooth and high-quality experience for applicants and students. You’ll provide professional guidance and foster a positive, proactive working environment. Proven leadership and operational management experience, preferably in a similar setting, are essential.
About You
* Management experience in a service delivery environment.
* Experience in service management, including planning, prioritising, and developing strategies, policies, and practices to support quality and efficiency, fostering continuous improvement.
* Experience in building and maintaining collaborative relationships with diverse stakeholders.
* Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate confidently and sensitively with people of all backgrounds, using tact and diplomacy.

Additional Information
Salary Grade: Starting from £38,249 rising to £42,882 per annum. The salary range reflects potential maximum pay progression, including annual inflationary increases. Typically, appointments are made at the lower end unless there are exceptional circumstances.
This is a full-time, permanent role.
Special conditions include:
* Some out-of-hours work, including evenings and weekends during the academic year.
* Limited opportunities for annual leave in August and September to ensure service continuity.
* Local travel to visit properties in Bath.
* Subject to a basic Disclosure and Barring Service check.
