Job Summary: We are seeking managers with experience in local government to join our Grants and Other Assurance national team.
Our Grants Assurance team consists of 30 members across the UK and India. You’ll manage assignments involving public bodies, government departments, national services, commercial organizations, and not-for-profit organizations such as universities.

Let’s Talk About the Job:
Here’s what you’ll experience:
* Hands-on experience with various aspects of Grants Assurance across different clients, from local authorities to multinational corporations and government bodies.
* Engagement in assurance assignments ranging from a few days to five weeks, including examining financial records and conducting audit procedures.
* Ownership of challenging client work with responsibility and growth opportunities.
* Developing a strong internal and external network to learn and grow.
* Collaborating with colleagues to provide insights that help clients meet regulatory requirements and business goals.
Minimum Criteria:
* Experience working with local government or a keen interest in developing expertise in this area.
* Experience delivering complex Housing Benefit assignments within the last 5 years.
* Ability to work independently, synthesize information from various sources, and manage relationships with clients, including senior officers.
