Conveyancing assistant – Leeds
An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Conveyancing Assistant to join a well-established and highly regarded regional law firm at its Central Leeds office. The Role
Working alongside a Senior Fee Earner, you will provide comprehensive support on a broad range of residential conveyancing matters. This position is ideally suited to someone with at least six months' experience in a similar role who is keen to take on greater responsibility and continue building their expertise within a respected property team.
Key Requirements
* A minimum of 6 months' experience in a Conveyancing Assistant or Legal Support role
* Exposure to residential conveyancing transactions, including sales and purchases
* Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail
Please note: applications without relevant conveyancing experience will not be considered.
Key Responsibilities
* Opening new client files and accurately inputting data into the case management system
* Drafting routine legal documents and preparing client correspondence
* Assisting with issuing contracts and dealing with replies to enquiries
* Ordering property searches and supporting matters through to exchange
* Assisting with completion, including issuing mortgage reports and final documentation
* Maintaining up-to-date and compliant case files in line with internal procedures
