We are looking for a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our busy Maintenance & Engineering department within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You will work closely with maintenance engineers, production operatives, production engineers and management to maximise productivity and minimise downtime across plant and machinery.
Key Responsibilities
* Use the Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to support planned maintenance and maximise equipment uptime
* Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM), shutdown work, and scheduled installations
* Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical faults on industrial machinery and equipment
* Support installation and improvement work on equipment such as presses, robots, conveyors and bespoke machinery
* Contribute to continuous improvement projects to improve safety, quality and productivity
* Work safely and compliantly, following regulations, manuals, schematics, blueprints and specifications
Using hand tools, power tools, and electrical/electronic test equipment
What Were Looking For Essential
* GCSEs including English, Maths and technical subjects
* Time-served apprenticeship or equivalent in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
* City & Guilds (or equivalent qualification)
* Experience in a manufacturing/engineering environment
* Strong communication skills and ability to xsngvjr work well in a team
* Competent with tools and maintenance equipment
* Confident using computers and operating systems
Desirable
* Knowledge of power presses / forming processes
* PLC knowledge and ability to diagnose electrical and mechanical faults
