Experienced Automotive Sales Controller – BYD Exeter Salary: up to £57,278.78 per annum plus monthly fuel and insurance allowances! Hours: Averaging 42.5 hours per week on a rota basis. Key is you will support team success by ensuring compliance with company processes, contributing to financial targets, and assisting in the training and development of Sales Consultants. Key Responsibilities Oversee all customer enquiries, ensuring prompt responses, fair treatment, compliance, and a consistent customer journey that maximises sales opportunities. Coach and support Sales Consultants through regular quality checks, daily reviews, and adherence to the sales process to drive engagement, performance, and customer satisfaction. Act as the primary point of contact for customer interactions, handling complaints, second-facing enquiries, and adding value throughout the sales journey. Coordinate with sales and operational teams to ensure timely vehicle preparation and handover, accurate part-exchange processes, and complete supporting documentation. Maintain compliance by overseeing ITC records, deal sign-offs, and ensuring all customer interactions and transactions meet company standards and regulatory requirements. What We’re Looking For Previous sales experience within the Motor industry. Experience of a customer focused environment.
