This is an excellent opportunity to gain broad, hands-on experience across management accounting, group reporting, statutory accounts, and audit within a multi-jurisdictional construction environment.Operating across the UK, Isle of Man, and Jersey, you will take ownership of core management accounting cycles while supporting group consolidation, statutory reporting, and external audit coordination. The role offers exposure to complex projects, cross-border entities, and senior stakeholders—ideal for someone looking to add value quickly while further developing their technical and commercial expertise.What you will doManagement AccountingPrepare monthly and quarterly management accounts across multiple entitiesAnalyse variances (budget vs actual) and provide meaningful insightsPerform intercompany reconciliationsAd-hoc Reporting & AnalysisDevelop dashboards and bespoke reports for Finance Business Partners and senior leadershipSupport reporting requirements including cash flow forecasting, covenant compliance, and KPI packsStatutory ReportingPrepare annual financial statements for UK, Isle of Man, and Jersey entitiesAudit CoordinationAct as a key contact for external auditorsPrepare PBC (Provided by Client) schedules, respond to queries, and track audit progressSupport internal controls testing and remediation across jurisdictionsProcess & Controls ImprovementContribute to financial period-end processes and controlsSupport finance transformation initiatives, including rapid close and process optimisationWhat you will haveNewly qualified ACA, ACCA or CIMA (first-time passes preferred)0–2 years’ post-qualified experience in audit, group reporting, or management accountingStrong technical knowledge of FRS102 and UK GAAPExposure to construction or project-based accounting (e.g. WIP, percentage of completion) is desirable but not essentialAdvanced Excel skills (including PivotTables, Power Query, and complex formulas)Familiarity with data/BI tools and an interest in leveraging digital or AI tools to improve reporting efficiencyAnalytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and deliver actionable insightsStrong communication skills, with confidence engaging senior stakeholders and non-finance teamsProactive and solutions-focused, with a strong sense of ownershipAdaptable and resilient, able to manage priorities across a fast-paced, multi-entity environmentThis role is particularly well suited to a recently qualified accountant looking to build a well-rounded skill set across financial reporting in a complex, international environment.What’s in It for You?We offer a competitive package, including:Competitive base salary and benefits package in line with company policy.25 days holiday plus bank holidays and option to buy/sell.Private health care, life assurance and robust employee wellbeing programme.
