Projects Manager Overview of the Role: Join a dynamic business experiencing exceptional growth. As a Projects Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring the success of multiple sites across various divisions of the business. Reporting directly to Contracts Managers and Company Directors, you'll oversee site management teams, attend client meetings, and maintain quality and safety standards across projects. Key Responsibilities: Conduct site surveys and foster positive relationships with clients, understanding their needs thoroughly. Coordinate materials and labor resources for projects, ensuring compliance with project schedules. Collaborate with design managers and external contractors to ensure timely and compliant project designs. Develop and maintain method statements, risk assessments, and lift plans to ensure safe work practices. Monitor on-site operations to ensure adherence to safety protocols and resolve disputes effectively. Supervise labor allocation, collaborate with other team managers, and conduct on-site audits to ensure compliance with health and safety guidelines. Take proactive measures to prevent accidents and improve overall team performance. Act as the primary point of contact to resolve any issues arising on contracts and implement solutions effectively. Essential: Good standard of education CSCS Site Manager Card and SMSTS certification High level of commercial awareness Experience in managing both small and large teams Clear communication and client-facing skills Multisite operation management experience Strong understanding of health and safety regulations Extensive knowledge in the metalwork industry Previous experience as a Contracts Manager Up-to-date knowledge of Health and Safety Legislation Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools Desirable: BTEC, HNC, or HND in a building-related subject Work-based NVQs Degree in a building-related subject Location: This is a predominantly site-based role with typical working hours from 8 am to 5 pm, Monday to Friday. Ability to travel and possession of a full UK driving license are required
