This role is for a mid-level structural engineer keen to gain Chartership, working on a project portfolio which will upskill you in all areas. Projects include new builds, refurbishments, historic works, cut and carve, international schemes, temporary works design, specialist materials, defect reports, high-end residential, pharmaceutical schemes, blue light sector work, and commercial buildings with values from very small up to a current £1b scheme. There is a focus on sustainability and providing the best possible solutions for clients.
There is emphasis on site work and client liaison, with involvement in running projects under appropriate supervision.
Location: London EC1 and surrounding area.
The firm offers an excellent training path for Chartership and uses a variety of up-to-date software.
Responsibilities
 * Go to site, deal with clients, and get involved in running projects under appropriate supervision.
 * Attend regular IPD and CPD sessions (often including a lunchtime session).
 * Provide high-quality structural engineering design and analysis across diverse project types.
 * Contribute to sustainability-focused design solutions and client-focused outcomes.
Qualifications / Experience
 * Mid-Senior level structural engineer aiming to gain Chartership.
 * Excellent communication skills and willingness to work on a range of project types.
 * Candidates must be eligible to live and work in the UK.
