Job Description:

Position Overview: As a Spanish Teacher, you will teach Spanish to students from KS3 to KS5, promoting fluency in speaking, reading, writing, and comprehension. You will encourage cultural awareness, provide engaging lessons, and create a classroom environment that fosters interest in the Spanish language and cultures. Collaboration with colleagues, participation in professional development, and contribution to extracurricular activities are also expected.
Responsibilities:
* Teach Spanish language and culture through interactive methods
* Differentiate instruction for diverse learners
* Develop engaging lesson plans and assessments
* Foster an inclusive and respectful classroom
* Encourage development of communication skills
* Participate in meetings, school events, and extracurriculars
* Communicate with parents about student progress
* Collaborate on interdisciplinary programs
Qualifications:
* Bachelor’s degree in Spanish, Education, or related field
* Certification in Teaching Spanish (QTS or equivalent)
* Experience teaching Spanish at KS3 to KS5
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to motivate students
* Experience with classroom technology is a plus
* Native or near-native Spanish proficiency
