PBS Practitioner | Bristol Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Hours: 37.5 per week Salary: £35.000 per year Location : Bristol, Birmingham, Manchester, Leeds, Birmingham, Bristol and Swindon Join a passionate and supportive multidisciplinary team providing specialist behavioural support across community and clinical settings. As a PBS Practitioner, youll play a key role in promoting Positive Behaviour Support principles and ensuring every individual receives consistent, person-centred care. About the Role As a PBS Practitioner, you'll be responsible for conducting detailed behavioral assessments, developing and implementing Positive Behavior Support Plans (PBSPs), and working closely with individuals, families, and professionals to achieve meaningful outcomes. You will manage your own caseload of up to 10 complex cases and work across various settings, ensuring every support plan is informed by current research and best practice in PBS. Key Responsibilities Conduct Functional Behaviour Assessments (FBAs) and develop Positive Behaviour Support Plans (PBSPs) Deliver tailored support strategies across community and clinical environments Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to promote consistency and best practice Support individuals, families, and staff during periods of crisis Champion the integration of Positive Behaviour Support principles across services About You BTEC or equivalent qualification in Positive Behaviour Support or related field Minimum of two years experience as a PBS Practitioner Experience supporting individuals with complex mental health needs Strong background in caseload management and multi-agency collaboration Compassionate, proactive, and committed to achieving positive outcomes Full UK driving license Benefits: Employee Assistance Program. The successful applicant will undergo a free enhanced disclosure from the disclosure barring service & other compliance checks required. They have widen the location Birmingham(Manchester, Leeds, Birmingham, Bristol and Swindon) If they hold a Masters and are suitable for a Lead role, the job title can be adjusted accordingly, with a salary up to approx. £42k. Job advert must clearly state: Caseload: 10 complex cases (much lower than standard caseloads) New role, working alongside Amy as clinical lead Ideally based in Bristol (although we can expand this if we need too) She believes that a few clinicians may be interested as well as Andrew Smallridge, Jade Frost and Santa - I have asked her to let me know if this is the case Learn from Amy Develop resources Conduct initial risk assessments Deliver training Supporting the Leaf brand in Bristol (15 families) / Somerset (10 families) Must be a driver Must have some flexibility as some of the assessment will be done outside core working hours (this time will be given back as Toil or they can shift their working hours to accommodate, ie - start later) The same benenfits as our previous recuits in this team - see previous information (ie : connection time etc) Although she is looking for one, however said that if they have 2 people that are strong they will more likely be able to take 2 of them
