Job Opportunity: Emissions Compliance Engineer
Location: Peterborough, UK
Contract Length: 12 months (strong likelihood of extension)
Hourly Rate: £42.75 per hour
Shift Pattern:
37 hours a week
08:30 start usually, flexibility around this between 8-9
7.5 hours Monday to Thursday
7 hours on a Friday.
Are you passionate about environmental compliance and engineering excellence? We are seeking an Emissions Compliance Engineer to join a dynamic team focused on ensuring global regulatory conformance for medium diesel engines and marine propulsion systems.
Key Responsibilities:
* Interpret and apply worldwide emissions regulations for diesel engines.
* Provide guidance and support for complex compliance issues across multiple products and territories.
* Collaborate with global teams to ensure robust and consistent compliance processes.
* Prepare and submit conformance reports to regulatory authorities.
* Continuously improve processes and documentation to ensure efficiency and accuracy.
Ideal Candidate:
* Engineering degree with strong knowledge of engines.
* Understanding of emissions legislation and regulatory compliance.
* Skilled in analyzing technical/regulatory issues and communicating clear guidance.
* Confident, articulate, and able to lead initiatives to resolution.
* Strong ethical standards and commitment to doing things right.
* Familiarity with process efficiency tools (e.g., Alteryx) is a plus.
