Salary: £64,000 - 70,000 per year Requirements: Design and implement systems and software to meet requirements using appropriate tools and methods. Promote the creation of high-quality code by commitment to practices such as test-driven development, pair programming, and code review. Be responsible for the technical development of all stages of software creation, including testing; ensure that implementation meets security, performance, and safety requirements. Suggest improvements to the code base, development processes, tooling, and working practices. Encourage innovation by identifying, evaluating, and adoption of emerging technologies. Assist with the design, implementation, and testing of APIs that adhere to the Open API specification. Demonstrate commercial software development experience. Have practical experience in system design, development, testing, and operational stability. Deep knowledge and experience in Python and its ecosystem, patterns, and pitfalls. Experience applying continuous delivery, test-driven development, and pair programming. Experience of working in an agile environment and an understanding of Scrum principles in particular. Experience writing and consuming RESTful APIs in Python. Experience with AWS services (Lambda, DynamoDB, ElasticSearch). Experience creating web application UIs using ReactJS and with TypeScript.
