About The Role
Are you ready to take the lead in creating unforgettable experiences? We’re on the lookout for an Accommodation Maintenance Manager to join our dynamic Management team at the vibrant Minehead resort!
In this pivotal role, you will report to the Facilities Senior Manager and oversee all aspects of accommodation maintenance across the resort. Your mission? To ensure our public areas and guest accommodations are maintained to the highest standards while adhering to brand guidelines and health & safety policies.
As part of the Facilities management team, you will:
* Manage day-to-day operations, including team schedules and activities.
* Coordinate with internal teams and external service providers to ensure timely completion of planned and reactive works.
* Ensure compliance with current statutory legislation while continuously seeking improvement opportunities.
* Champion team development through regular one-on-ones and performance discussions.
* Engage with internal customers to prioritize work and respond to emergencies effectively.
No two days will be the same at Butlin’s! You’ll need to think on your feet, dive into challenges, and keep our guest experience at the forefront of everything you do. Your leadership will drive excellence, ensuring that our brand standards shine through in every aspect of your work.
Additionally, you’ll analyze KPIs and stock control systems to maximize gross profit margins while strictly adhering to health & safety policies.
About You
We’re looking for a candidate with a solid background in supervising and managing a maintenance team, ideally within a similar M&E infrastructure environment. Your experience should equip you to handle the bustling demands of a busy resort.
Key qualifications include:
* Knowledge of electrical, gas, and water systems, along with a good understanding of current legislation.
* Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and engage your team, even during peak times.
* Flexibility to adapt to changing requirements and manage multiple priorities.
* Proficiency in IT, including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint; familiarity with facilities management software is a plus.
