A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Merchandiser to join our dynamic, diverse & forward-thinking Merchandising Team based at BEAUTY BAY HQ in Exchange Quay.
As part of our Merchandising Team, you will be excited by the opportunity to play your part in bringing BEAUTY BAY products from concept to actual repeatable sales using your forecasting, planning, and analytical skills.
Key responsibilities:
* Work closely with the NPD, Merchandising, Marketing & Trading Teams to implement a clear position in the market.
* Understand longer lead critical path management to minimize risks to launch plans and maintain high stock availability.
* Manage stock to achieve plan, supporting operational efficiency with clear management of the critical path to maximize sales & reduce terminal stock.
* Manage WSSI, ensuring sales are maximized and markdown costs are reduced.
* Develop promotional events in conjunction with marketing & markdown plans to deliver strategy & KPIs.
* Analyse, interpret & present recommendations based on MI/market insight to SLT.
* Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to manage the launch of new products & limited edition collections.
* Plan assortments to establish clear options/buy quantity plans to maximize sales & profit.
* Undertake season lessons learned analysis & strategic pre-season planning.
* Coach & develop junior team members to optimize category sales & margin while minimizing stock risk.
About you
* Ability to cross-collaborate with stakeholders across BEAUTY BAY.
* A minimum of 6 years of previous experience within Merchandising, with online experience preferred.
* Extensive stock management experience is essential.
* Strong knowledge & understanding of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher).
* Critical path management experience.
* Excellent analytical & numerical skills.
* Effective written & verbal communication skills.
* Previous experience working within online/e-commerce retail is desirable.
* Confidence to influence stakeholders.
* Experience coaching and developing junior team members is preferred.
