We are working closely alongside a Local Authority in Flintshire to assist with the appointment of a Transport Area Co-ordinator, on a 1.5-month contract, highly likely to be extended at clients discretion. Please apply with your CV for immediate consideration.
Rate of Pay: £16.62 - £21.75 per hour
Summary:
Transport Area Co-ordinator role is to support the assessment of mainstream home-to-school transport applications. The post holder will be responsible for interpreting eligibility criteria, completing transport assessments, and supporting the coordination of safe and efficient transport services across the area.
Responsibilities:
* Assess mainstream home-to-school transport applications in line with eligibility criteria
* Interpret transport policies and apply criteria accurately
* Complete transport assessments using the Council's transport planning system
* Update and maintain spreadsheets with assessment data for administrative processing
* Support coordination of transport arrangements across Flintshire
* Act as a key point of contact for parents, customers, and educational establishments
Essentials:
* Previous experience in assessment-based roles or policy interpretation is advantageous
* Strong administrative and data handling skills
* Ability to interpret and apply eligibility criteria accurately
* Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
* Excellent communication skills and stakeholder management ability
