The Role
The primary purpose of this role is to deliver water, wastewater and recycled water treatment process design solutions for Aurecon’s clients. You will be a key member of a team of highly skilled specialists that ‘bring ideas to life’ through a combination of technical skills/experience and innovation.
Here are the key things you will do to ‘bring ideas to life’:
1. Work through engineering phases from investigations, conceptual design, front-end engineering and detailed design
2. Contribute to the delivery of multi-disciplinary engineering designs
3. Contribute to cost-efficient designs by applying innovative solutions and technological developments that bring greater value to our clients
4. Work within study and project teams to meet scope requirements and ensure time and budget objectives are achieved
5. Assist in the development of process simulations, Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs), Piping and Instrument Diagrams (P&IDs), design documents, including reports, and specifications
6. Engage and build positive relationships with existing and potential clients and stakeholders, support business development and tenders to win and deliver work for Aurecon,
7. Produce written reports, documents and presentations.
What we are looking for:
8. Bachelor’s Degree in Civil, Mechanical, Chemical Engineering or similar.
9. Experience in or a passion for water and wastewater treatment
10. Knowledge of process engineering calculations, PFDs and P&IDs
11. Experience in working in a multi-disciplinary team
12. Ability to work constructively in a team environment, communicate effectively
