Overview

Responsibilities
In this role you will:
* Support the Centre Director in the leadership of the team to provide high‑quality early learning and care.
* Mentor and build capabilities within the centre team.
* Be responsible for the overall management of the centre in the Centre Director’s absence.
* Use and implement the Goodstart Practice Guide.
* Collaborate with the dedicated leadership team and forge respectful and reciprocal relationships with families and the local community.
Qualifications
To be considered we ask you to have:
* Previous experience as an Assistant Director or in a centre leadership position.
* Fiscal management, organisational, fundraising, communication and administrative skills.
* Leadership experience, program development, supervising, attention to detail and teaching experience.
* Valid working‑with‑children check (or ability to obtain one).
About Goodstart Brighton SA
We are a smaller, 75‑place long day‑care centre located just past Jetty Road on Brighton Road, close to schools, shops and transport routes. Recent renovations and new resources have refreshed our environment. Many of our staff have been with us for 5 to 15 years and our Centre Director brings 25 years of experience across Goodstart services.
