Senior Business Development Manager - SaaS

This full-cycle sales role is ideal for experienced sales professionals with a proven track record of acquiring new customers and leveraging proactive account management to generate cross-sell and upsell revenue throughout the customer lifecycle.
We welcome applications from SaaS sales experts or professionals currently in procurement or procurement consulting seeking to transition into procurement technology sales.
The primary focus is on generating revenue by acquiring new clients and strengthening relationships with existing clients to ensure renewals and growth. The role balances hunting new business with farming existing accounts.
You will collaborate with notable clients such as premier league football clubs, global hotel chains, luxury sports car manufacturers, and household brands, helping their procurement teams become more efficient and effective through technology adoption, especially in a competitive and turbulent market. Our solutions are increasingly relevant, particularly after our recent integration into Esker, a global firm with renewed investment for expansion.
Working Hours: Remote work from Monday to Friday, 08:45 to 17:00, with a 45-minute lunch break. Quarterly visits to our office in Stroud, Gloucestershire.

Responsibilities
* Utilize a consultative sales approach to close new SaaS module sales
* Qualify and follow up on inbound leads through discovery calls
* Deliver tailored web demos to prospective clients to align solutions with their needs
* Manage existing accounts to secure renewals and foster growth
* Provide product training to new and existing clients
* Assist marketing efforts by gathering case studies and customer reviews
* Leverage networking and referral skills to generate qualified leads
* Participate in trade shows, webinars, podcasts, and support marketing campaigns
* Record all activities in our CRM (Zoho)
About You
* 5+ years of SaaS sales experience or experience selling procurement technology in B2B, or significant procurement/procurement consulting experience
* Goal-oriented and focused
* Energetic, self-motivated, resilient, and determined
* Excellent organizational skills
* Strong communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written
* Ability to build and maintain relationships with a consultative approach
* Entrepreneurial mindset with a 'can do' attitude
* Passionate about technology
* Valid driving license and own vehicle
* Eligible to work in the UK
