You'll work with children & young people with moderate to severe mental health needs across emotional dysregulation, trauma and depression pathways, supporting them in the community to access timely intervention. You'll play a key role in delivering innovative, multi-agency care in a team with very low wait times, making a real difference to young people and their families.
Our fully staffed MDT values holistic assessment, shared formulation & thoughtful care planning. Consultants are integral to shaping plans alongside colleagues, contributing clinical expertise within a genuinely collaborative environment.
Collaboration and peer support are central to how we work. Our MDT includes Clinical Psychologists, Family Therapists, Psychodynamic Psychotherapists, Mental Health Practitioners & Nurses. You'll work closely with families, wider CAMHS services & partner organisations, bringing a team‑focused approach to complex cases.

Responsibilities
* Provide psychiatric assessment, diagnosis and treatment for children and young people up to 18 within the Bracknell locality.
* Hold a caseload and deliver 2–3 clinical contacts per direct clinical session, depending on clinical complexity.
* Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, contributing to shared formulation, holistic care planning and multi‑agency decision‑making.
* Offer consultation and clinical advice to colleagues across the service.
* Engage with families, schools, social care, community paediatrics, GPs and partner agencies to coordinate care.
* Participate in service improvement, clinical audit, CPD and teaching.
Qualifications
* Approved Clinician status and Section 12 approval (or within 3 months).
* Excellent knowledge in speciality and experience working with children and young people with complex needs, spanning multiple agencies.
* A strong commitment to multidisciplinary, collaborative, formulation‑led practice.
