We’re looking for a Lead Service Engineer, based in Sizewell, to oversee worksupport the delivery of high-quality generator servicing and repair work across the region.

What you’ll do:
7. Lead site operations, managing a team of engineers, Coordinate with internal teams including Operations, Yard, Hire Desk, Service Administration, and Stores to ensure smooth execution of all tasks.
8. Service, maintain, and repair generators up to 1,500 kVA
9. Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical faults across a wide range of equipment
10. Support field-based engineers with complex or escalated on-site issues
11. Attend customer sites for maintenance, breakdown response, and commissioning
12. Ensure all work meets health, safety, and company quality standards
13. Mix of workshop and field-based responsibilities
14. Analyze frequent equipment failures and propose preventive actions
15. Ensure Aggreko’s QHSE standards are consistently applied across all workstreams.
16. Standard working hours: Monday to Friday, 08:30–16:30, with occasional weekend work, required to do on call as per the rota.
You’ll have the following skills and experience:
17. City & Guilds Level 3 (electrical/mechanical) r equivalent qualification
18. Strong background in generator servicing and electrical fault finding
19. Proven leadership skills with the ability to guide and support a small team
20. Able to work independently and collaboratively
21. Understanding of AC and DC power, 3 phase system, component
22. Ability to move or lift objects, typically less than 50 lbs.
23. Strong organizational, planning, and team leadership skills.
24. Demonstrates initiative, flexibility, and resilience in a fast-paced, 24/7 service environment.
25. Full UK driving licence
