As a Platform Lead reporting to the Platform Content Manager, you own the content build strategy, execution best practices and operational delivery for a specific content platform or channel. Y ou manage a team of content experts of our platforms i.e. Salesforce Marketing Cloud & Service Cloud, App, Zoovu, AEM, Hybris, Magento 2, a range of CRM platforms, and more. Communication, collaboration, self-evaluation, and a desire to improve are second nature to you. You understand the need to create high quality content experiences, in a high paced environment, with demanding delivery timelines. In this role, effective people management, strong recruitment, and extensive platform training are all critical for the team to be set up for success. Y ou are expected to be at the forefront of your platform for the team - which includes requesting enhancements to improve owner experience and campaign capability, being up to date with all functionality, creating guides on how to use Dyson platforms effectively, and being accountable for training the platforms to others across teams globally. You will lead the team in the planning, management and execution of a n agile sprint delivery process - designed and bespoke to fit the wider Revenue, Marketing an d Business Unit teams - for your Platform stream, for build and roll out of content pages, deliverables and assets in line with campaign timings. Where demand delivery requires Experience Delivery Managers or IT project managers, you will work closely with them to ensure projects are delivered on time and to the brief spec. In your role, you’ll report regularly to Platform Content Management on content delivery progress an d the operational process framework for content builds in your platform, which is expected to continually become more efficient and effective over time – using improved workflows, templating and automation to drive this. Platform and content configuration is integral to the role’s responsibilities, with our Platforms requiring expert knowledge ranging across content build capabilities, and coding language understanding to lead a team to get the most out of our content solutions. Examples of this would be creating queries for our databases so that Dyson communications are sent to the appropriate audience and building a catalogue of layouts and modules within emails, notifications, and CMS. Original content designing, authoring and creation is a key part of the role, where you will become a Dyson product expert working closely with senior category experts such as the Design Manager from Research, Design and Development (RDD) and Product Unit Commercial Managers to attain a deep understanding of how our platform capability can be utilised for each campaign. Using your team’s platform expertise, you will consult and collaborate with these category stakeholders to design, shape and write end-to-end omnichannel digital experiences to deliver a world class owner experience while surfacing campaigns and new products. Through our third party content administration suppliers, you will be responsible for scaling these experiences into our content platforms, managing their SLAs for content delivery and quality and training them where necessary. As and when content is built, y ou will be working with cross-functional and global teams to localise and activate the content for your Platform channel in line with NPD and campaign launch timings. Training up other Dyson digital teams to make sure they understand the platforms and utilise our content appropriately is critical to the success of our content launch es, as well as driving them to deliver quality, consistency, and on-time activation of it. About you Should have 5 years experience using CMS platforms, preferably one or more of: Salesforce Marketing /Service Cloud, AEM, Hybris, Magento, Sitecore, SAP CRM. Skilled in both planning and delivering content through agile sprints. Line management experience. Experience working with and managing an offshore or global team in content delivery is advantageous. Ability to motivate, engage and inspire a team, leading others in project deliverables and being accountable for their output. Content delivery management and production experience. Resilience and composure to guide projects and teams through arising issues, overcoming challenges to deliver high quality business outcomes. Experience in Digital Transformation and a strategic view of business organisational needs. Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office and preferably the Atlassian suite.
