What will you be doing.
* Manage a varied caseload of planning enforcement issues, including the most complex and sensitive cases
* Prepare enforcement notices and instruct our legal advisors
* Assist our legal advisors with prosecutions and injunctions and where appropriate attend court to give evidence on behalf of the Council
* Assist the Team Leader with management and mentoring of the team
What are we looking for?
* Degree in a relevant subject, or relevant professional planning experience
* Proven experience working in development management, planning enforcement or a similar field.
* Negotiation skills
* Investigation and research skills
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
* A commitment to providing excellent customer service
* Full UK driving licence (access to a vehicle is not necessary if licence held for 2 years)
