We are partnering with a leading mid-market private equity firm to hire a Fund Accountant into their London-based team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a newly qualified / early PQE accountant to join a high-performing platform, offering broad exposure across fund structures, co-investments, and investor reporting within a collaborative and growth-oriented environment.
The Role
Working closely with the Head of Fund Finance, you will play a key role across the fund finance function, with responsibilities including:
* Leading the quarterly financial reporting for co-investment vehicles and acting as a main liaison for audit-related queries
* Preparing and reviewing monthly accounting entries across core fund structures
* Managing day-to-day treasury activities, including payment processing, cashflow oversight, and reconciliation of bank accounts
* Serving as a key point of contact for investor-related enquiries, ensuring timely and accurate responses
* Supporting the delivery of tax reporting (including K1s) and regulatory filings
* Maintaining and enhancing investor records and systems, ensuring data integrity at all times
* Contributing to the continuous improvement of processes, controls, and reporting efficiencies within the finance function
Candidate Profile
* Newly qualified ACA / ACCA (or equivalent) or approaching qualification
* Experience in with fund accounting whether from a fund administration firm, a fund manager or audit
* Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlines
* Confident communicator with the ability to engage stakeholders
* Proactive, organised, and keen to take ownership in a fast-paced environment
