Location: Ness Castle Primary School, Inverness
Hours: 20 hours per week
Duration: Permanent
Salary: £12,727 - £13,939 per annum
Hours to be worked between 12pm - 6pm
Salary placing will normally be at the first point of the scale.

Job Purpose: To work as an effective member of the childcare team, supporting the Head Teacher in the delivery of a range of stimulating activities in a safe environment that meet the needs of both children and their families. The work is to be carried out in accordance with Highland Council policies, guidelines and codes of practice. You will be working with children between the ages of 3-12.

Responsibilities

* Ensure the safety and well-being of children aged 3-12 in accordance with council policies, guidelines and codes of practice.
Requirements
* This position is classified as a regulated role. An Overseas Criminal Record Check may be required depending on nationality and residency history.
* Nationalities required: United Kingdom or Germany, Lithuania, the Netherlands, Portugal, Romania, Hungary, Greece, France, Ireland, Italy, Spain, or Poland.
* Must not have lived or worked in any country outside of the UK or listed countries for a period of three months or more, while aged 18 or over, within the past five years.
* Please note that it is your responsibility to obtain the Overseas Criminal Record Check, and you will be required to cover any associated costs.
