Job Title: Admin Support Apprentice Apprenticeship: Business Admin Level 3 Location: Horley Salary: £7.55 per hour (Apprenticeship Wage) will be increasing to £8 per hour as of April 1 st 2026. Hours: 37hrs per week Full time Start Date: As soon as possible A well-established, family-owned business, with over 35 years of experience in repairing and calibrating cameras, TVs, and audio equipment. Recognised as one of the UK's leading independent multi-manufacturer repair services, the company has built strong partnerships with major retailers and brands including John Lewis, Currys, Nikon, Panasonic, Sony, LG, and Samsung. The role involves providing comprehensive administrative support to ensure the smooth running of the office. Desired Skills & Qualities Time Management Communication skills both written and verbal Proficiency in MS office would be preferable Driving licence if possible or ability to commute to Horley Team player Hard working Reliable Desired Qualifications Grade 4 ( C ) or above in English & Math Responsibilities for an apprentice Provide administrative support to ensure efficient operation of the office Answer phone calls, emails, and customer portals. Serving on the shop counter and dealing with other enquiries Manage calendars and schedule appointments Requirements to work towards: Gain knowledge of office management systems and procedures Achieve excellent organisational and time management skills Strong attention to detail and accuracy Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information Proficient telephone manner Customer service or customer support experience Note: This job description is intended to provide a general overview of the position. Other duties may be assigned as needed. Apprenticeship Information You will be enrolled on the Business Admin Level 3, typically completed over 18 months. This includes: Regular workplace-based learning supported by your training provider and line manager A minimum of 6 hours per week of off-the-job training Development of skills, knowledge, and behaviours aligned to the apprenticeship standard Completion of a portfolio and end-point assessment Functional Skills support in English or Maths if not previously achieved at Level 2 Prospects Once you have completed your apprenticeship there will be the opportunity to potentially go into a permanent based role.
