Your role in elevating the East Midlands Our Employment Support Programme has a funding value of £50m plus. You will be working with the Head of Employability and Health to support the development and delivery of this valuable and vital programme. This will include managing contracts, monitoring the performance of suppliers and ensuring the smooth and efficient functioning of project operations. Ultimately it will be your responsibility to ensure we comply with funding rules and that possible outcomes are maximised. Key responsibilities include: Managing and monitoring the performance of learning organisations, including attending provider performance review meetings. Developing consistent, effective and accurate contract management tools to monitor overall contract finance, performance, subcontractors, partner delivery and risk. Produce concise and detailed reports, on spend, outputs, outcomes, finance, and risks often at short notice and for a variety of sources including funders, senior managers. Liaise with delivery partners and sub-contractors in relation to management of contracts, having a presence in contract reviews and addressing underperformance or non-compliance where required. Identify issues and risks affecting programme delivery and propose actions to address or mitigate these. Undertaking research, fact-finding, and analysis activities in support of the teams work and support the development of relevant performance indicators and management information systems which can be used to inform strategic bodies. Your profile: Educated to Level 3 or above, with extensive experience of Microsoft packages including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint Knowledge and experience in project management, administration and governance procedures and systems Experience of monitoring financial and commercial contracts and knowledge of effective reporting Experience of collaborating with external stakeholders providers, employers, etc Proven record in providing successful coordination support to projects, preferably those supported with public funding. Confident in working with strict funding rules and regulations to ensure project compliance.
