Overview
CAMS Fire & Security PLC has been established since 1984, with third party certification to NACOSS Gold approval for Security Systems and LPC LPS 1014 approval for Fire Alarm systems. To add to our team we require Fire Commissioning Engineers who want to further their careers. Our area covered is predominately within a 50 mile radius of the Stevenage working on a variety of premises including commercial and residential premises.
Responsibilities
* Install Fire Alarm Systems with some auxiliary Fire Safety and Nurse Call Systems (training provided).
* Maintain records of works done.
* Maintain a safe work environment at all times by following all relevant standards and procedures.
* Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities made available through the company and reading technical publications.
* Be a reliable, punctual team member with a can‑do attitude, willing to contribute to a mobile workforce.
* Work in line with relevant standards (training provided if required).
* Act as a vital ambassador for the company.
Requirements
* Full UK driving license.
Benefits and hours
* Salary: expected annual salary in excess of £40,000 – £50,000 per year (depending on experience), including enhancement pay for statutory holidays, overtime, travel to and from site and generous stand-by payments.
* AE Pension • 23 Days holiday + Bank Holidays.
* Hours on site: 08:30 – 17:00.
