Life at RVG Stevenage (Great Ashby)

RVG Stevenage is a small animal specialist site with a passionate team of vets, nurses, PCAs, and receptionists. Modern facilities and specialist equipment support high‑quality veterinary care, surgery, and routine procedure delivery.

This is a fixed‑term contract position working 30‑40 hours a week. The role can vary depending on your interests.

• As an experienced vet (2‑3 years' experience), you bring a strong level of clinical autonomy, comfortable handling a varied caseload, and contributing to shaping clinical standards.

This position is suitable for an experienced small animal vet, preferably with at least 2+ years’ experience. Responsibilities include primary care OOH consultations, receiving member practice case transfers, inpatient care, medical work‑ups and surgery. A strong medical knowledge and experience in routine and emergency surgery are required. Good communication skills and a passion to deliver excellent care and client service are essential.
