Job Description
POST: Operations Manager
GRADE: Scale 22-26 pro rata (FTE - £32,654.00 - £36,124.00)
RESPONSIBLE TO: Principal
RESPONSIBLE FOR: Supervision of office, Educational Visits and Data Protection
WORKING PATTERN: 37 hours a week, term time only plus 4 weeks outside term
time
JOB PURPOSE: To organise and supervise the effective provision of
administrative services to the Academy and ensure that all work is undertaken in accordance with Academy Policies. To act as PA to the Principal when required.
DISCLOSURE LEVEL: Enhanced DBS
Areas Of Accountability
* Delivery of a mutually agreed set of Key Performance Indicators, set annually in consultation with the Principal
* Efficient administration of Schools Management Information System (SMIS)
* Line management responsibility for office-based, lunch-time and cleaner staff
* Act as Educational Visits Co-ordinator for the Academy and manage the EVOLVE system.
* Act as Data Protection Lead for the Academy
* Effective PA and administrative support to the Principal and ALT
