Job Title: Classroom Assistant (Level 2/3 Qualified, with EYFS Experience)
Location: Various Locations Across the UK
Salary: £89 - £95 per day
Hours: Full Time, 8:30 am to 3:30 pm
About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Classroom Assistant to join our educational team. The successful candidate will support staff and students with a focus on Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). This is a great opportunity to contribute to students’ educational journeys.
Responsibilities
* Provide one-to-one assistance to students with SEND, helping them access the curriculum and reach their potential.
* Support the teacher in planning and delivering lessons within the EYFS framework.
* Create a safe, positive, and stimulating learning environment that supports intellectual and emotional growth.
* Assist in monitoring and supporting the class during small group or individual activities.
* Encourage independence and self-confidence through positive reinforcement and targeted support.
* Use effective verbal communication with students, staff, and parents.
* Help manage classroom resources and keep them in good condition.
* Participate in training sessions and staff meetings as required to support school goals.
* Take on additional responsibilities as needed, including supporting school events and activities.
Qualifications and Requirements
* Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent.
* Proven experience in an educational setting, particularly with EYFS.
* Experience working one-on-one with SEND students.
* Excellent verbal communication skills.
* DBS on the update service or willing to undergo an enhanced DBS check.
* A passion for education and a commitment to a nurturing, inclusive learning environment.
* Punctual, reliable, and able to work autonomously or as part of a team.
* UK-based experience as a teaching assistant to understand the local context and curriculum.
