Vehicle Technician – Wirral
Location: Wirral
Salary: £45,000 – £50,000
Our client is a main dealership in Wirral, looking for an experienced Vehicle Technician to join their busy Service Department. The role offers a competitive basic salary and bonus structure with opportunities for progression within the dealership.
Working Hours
* 8:30am – 5pm Monday to Friday
* 8:30am – 12:30pm every other week
* 30‑minute lunch break
Key Responsibilities
* Undertake maintenance, service and repair activities on motor vehicles to the highest standard.
* Carry out all work completely and effectively whilst adhering to manufacturer’s scheduled times to maintain efficiency.
* Effectively record details of diagnosis, work completed and components utilised in line with group and manufacturer standards.
* Keep work areas clean, tidy, organised and safe from hazards to health and safety.
* Liaise effectively with colleagues and customers at all levels in a polite and efficient manner.
* Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction and work to ensure they are always met.
* MOT license and accreditation will be provided.
* Bonus is paid on labour sales.
Minimum Requirements
* Qualified to NVQ level 3 (or equivalent).
* At least 2 years of experience after qualifying as a Technician in a dealership (or similar).
* Excellent customer service skills.
* Good technical knowledge.
* Valid driving licence.
* Ability to work without supervision.
* Take responsibility for the quality and quantity of work.
