The successful candidate will create a safe, nurturing and engaging learning environment that supports pupils to achieve both academically and personally. The role involves working closely with pastoral teams, therapists, families and external agencies to promote positive behaviour, emotional regulation, resilience and successful outcomes for learners with additional needs. Key Responsibilities Teaching and Learning Plan and deliver differentiated lessons that meet the diverse needs of pupils with SEMH needs and associated learning difficulties. Adapt teaching strategies to engage disaffected and vulnerable learners. Create a positive, inclusive and trauma-informed classroom environment. Assess, monitor and record pupil progress in line with school policies. Prepare pupils for qualifications appropriate to their needs and abilities.
