Location: Uttoxeter – Elkes Biscuits
Shift Pattern: Monday - Friday, 07:00 – 14:30 and 14:30 – 22:00
About the Role:
Reporting to the FLM, the duties within this full-time permanent role will include:
* Operate nominated machinery to the correct standard
* Ensure efficiency targets are achieved through identifying improvements and putting action plans in place
* Responsibility over SAP housekeeping / accountable for real time investigation into variances
* Lead changeovers on the line
* Ensure the quality of product is to the correct standard
* Understand the key issues on the plant and work with the Area Manager on action plans to improve
* Key member of the area H&S team
* Total flexibility around the shift, plant and roles
* Completes SSOW and trains these out to others
* Ensure Short Interval Control information is completed / reviewed
* Operate nominated machinery to the correct standard
* Ensure efficiency targets are achieved through identifying improvements and putting action plans in place
* Responsibility over waste / accountable for real time investigation and solution
* Ensure the quality of product is to the correct standard
* Ensure HACCP and other documentation are completed correctly with actions in place to fill gaps
* Work with the Area Manager to ensure that your line is "audit ready" at all times

The successful candidates will have a can-do attitude and will genuinely want to be involved in improving both performance of the area as well as developing their own capability.
You will be a key member of the Overwrap crew who will be involved in driving the continuous improvement of this plant. Your views and ideas will be key to the success of this exciting new venture.
