37 hours per week
Temporary up to 12 months or until the post holder returns; whichever is earlier due to Maternity Cover.
A Social Work Assistant is required to join the locality teams. You will have experience of working with children and their families and be committed to working in partnership to provide quality services.
You will be required to undertake case work, care and support assessments and the provision of information, Advice and Assistance in accordance with the Social Services and Wellbeing (Wales) Act 2014. You will also be expected to support colleagues with complex cases and undertake specific case-related tasks. You will need to demonstrate good communication and organisational skills, a flexible approach to your work and a commitment to team working.

The ability to greet customers through the medium of Welsh is a requirement for this post.
Protecting children, young people or adults at risk is a core responsibility of all council employees.

A valid driving licence is requirement for this post.
