What you’ll be doing
as a Repair & Maintenance Technician
You will be responsible for repair and maintenance across our South London network, with occasional travel to North London when required.
You will be the Leader of a two-person R&M Team. Ensuring that all work undertaken is completed to the correct safety and quality standards.
1. Base location – Epsom KT17 1BW.
2. Working pattern: 45 hours a week on a shift pattern, including a standby rota for which you will receive additional payment.

3. You will have experience or training in repair and maintenance in the water industry.
4. You should be able to meet the physical demands of the role with the ability to work outdoors in all weathers.
5. Use your initiative and problem-solve where repairs are required.
6. Have strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical messages in a simple way.
7. Have a can-do, positive attitude, remaining open to new ideas and change.
8. Be self-motivated and confident in completing tasks to the best of your ability.
Additional skills and experiences would be great to have/bring:
9. Be competent in using computers and other IT equipment.
10. Advantageous if you have an EUSR Water Hygiene card, Service Avoidance L2 and/or a First Aid qualification.
