As a Line Cook, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring our kitchen runs like clockwork. Your culinary expertise will help create mouth-watering dishes that leave our guests wanting more, while maintaining the highest standards of food safety and quality.
What you'll be doing:
* Preparing and cooking high-quality dishes in your section, following standard recipes and specifications.
* Assisting the Head Chef and Sous Chef in keeping everything running smoothly and efficiently.
* Helping prep ingredients like chopping, marinating, and seasoning to perfection.
* Keeping the kitchen neat, clean, and well-organized – your workspace will be your pride
* Ensuring food safety guidelines are always followed, delivering top-tier meals every time.
* Collaborating with the kitchen crew to ensure fast and timely meal service.
* Managing food inventory and notifying the Kitchen Manager when supplies are low.
* Training new team members and helping them learn kitchen techniques and safety practices.
What we're looking for:
* 2-3 years of experience in a kitchen environment (restaurant experience is a plus).
* A solid understanding of culinary techniques and meal prep methods.
* Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices.
* Ability to thrive in a fast-paced kitchen and keep your cool under pressure.
* Excellent teamwork and communication skills – you'll work closely with the entire kitchen crew.
* A genuine passion for cooking and creating exceptional dishes that wow customers.
